Ease into Cloth Diapering
You don't have to start out using cloth from day one, or use cloth diapers exclusively, to make an positive impact on your baby's health, the environment and your finances.
For many mothers, the stresses of a newborn baby are high enough that adding diaper-washing to the list is a recipe for disaster.
Give yourself a break. Use disposables or a diaper service until you get your energy back and then start on your cloth diapering regimen. At this stage, you will have a higher likelihood of only needing one size of cloth diapers to last you through to toddlerhood.
One of the most gratifying things I did during mothering was using cloth diapers. It feels great knowing that you can make a substantial savings to your household budget, save the evironment, and last but not least, give your baby the comfort and benefit of wearing a soft cloth diaper.
