LilyPadz® are an alternative to traditional breastpads. Crafted of gas-permeable silicone to be flexible, breathable, and invisible, the thin, soft, non-absorbent layer is like a second skin.
When worn, the pad applies a gentle pressure to the nipple to stop breast milk leakage, so there's nothing to absorb. LilyPadz® actually adhere to your breast to provide complete protection.
Simply place the pad over your nipple with the tacky lining toward your breast. Press the center onto the nipple and smooth the pad outward. The pad conforms to your breast for a secure fit. Wear them without a nursing bra—even in bed!
LilyPadz® prevent the rubbing, sticking, and chafing that occur with conventional breastpads. And because they're made of silicone, not rubber, they do not trigger allergic reactions.
Wear LilyPadz® inside clothing, to bed, swimming - anywhere you need reliable protection. To swim, simply apply the pads while you're dry, and they'll stay in place and retain breast milk while you go from dry to wet to dry again.
To nurse your baby, just lift off the LilyPadz® and reapply after feeding. The tacky lining is not an adhesive and is gentle to your skin.
Continuously usable! Just wash with mild soap and water, rinse well, and air-dry before reapplying. Takes only minutes - and you don't need extra pairs the way you do with conventional breastpads. Many women use one pair of LilyPadz continuously, while others prefer to have a second pair for convenience.
Washing rejuvenates the tacky lining, so that with proper care, one pair will last for months. You can even sterilize your LilyPadz® occasionally by placing them in boiling water for 3-5 minutes.
LilyPadz® can be used with lanolin, although if a wide area of skin is covered with lanolin, the pad's adhesiveness may be lowered, so it's recommnded that you use a bra.
