You can use the Tummy Tub to bathe your baby in either of two positions: "floating" or "sitting".
In the "floating" position, your baby's bum will not be resting on the bottom of the tub. An easy-to-use scale on the side of the Tummy Tub helps you decide how much water to put into the tub so your baby will be "floating". The "floating" scale starts as low as 4 lbs. and you can choose to use this position until your baby is 17 lbs.
If you prefer, you can bathe your baby "sitting", so his or her bottom rests on the tub. A guideline on the tub will help you fill the tub so that the baby is bathed in the "sitting" position. Note: after your baby’s weight has reached 17 lbs. you will have to bathe the baby "sitting" instead of "floating".
The Tummy Tub has no sharp edges, is fully recyclable, and is made of environmentally friendly materials. Baby can explore and even bite the Tummy Tub with absolutely no harmful effects. Endorsed by physicians, midwives, and nursery nurses.
Please never leave your baby unattended in the bath.
